Community Involvement

Seattle Children's Theatre

Benjamin Law Group is pleased to be the sponsor of SCT's Family Concerts for 2011-12. The two concerts will be presented free of charge to children, parents, grandparents and their friends. The first concert, held on September 10, 2011, featured the Not-Its, a five member band from Seattle. The second concert on May 12, 2012 will feature Caspar Babypants. Caspar drew over 500 people to his SCT show last year! Seattle Children's Theatre provides our region with excellent plays and musicals for young audiences and offers a quality drama school for kids. These no-cost family concerts give children and their families a fun outing and a great first experience with the magic in store for all of them at SCT.

Recovery Cafe

Benjamin Law Group is a proud supporter of Recovery Café, a safe place in Seattle where men and women affected by homelessness, addiction, and mental challenges can go for support in managing their recovery.

With at least 50% of Seattle's approximate 8000 homeless reporting substance abuse issues; organizations like Recovery Café are essential to our community. The need for support far outweighs the resources available, and the Recovery Café responds by providing a place where each person is known and loved and can find a refuge for healing and hope during recovery.

"I have enjoyed meeting several people who are getting their lives on track at Recovery Café," says Andrew Benjamin. Recovery Café treats a root cause of homelessness and poverty by helping members maintain sobriety and stay clean. Because it serves the greater Seattle community, Benjamin Law Group recently renewed its support to Recovery Café and donated a commercial grade photocopier to the organization. Such support has run from 2005 to the present.
